When you go to purchase an app from the App Catalog, do you usually read the reviews first to determine if the app is worth the price? Well, if you find other's reviews helpful, you should be sure to leave your own reviews for the apps that you have purchased or downloaded. It only takes a few moments to rate and write up a review, and other users (and the developers) will appreciate it.

There are a few different ways to access the screen to leave a review, and remember that you need to have purchased or downloaded the app to be eligible.

  • On any webOS device from the original Pre on webOS 1.4.5 to the TouchPad on webOS 3.x, you can load up the app in the App Catalog and then find the Reviews section.
    • -- On phones, you then need to tap the "Reviews" button on the right-side of the screen, followed by the "Review" button on the bottom-left (note that the button will say "Update" if you have already left a review.
    • -- On the TouchPad, a review section is always visible below the app description. Once you rate the number of stars for the app, a text field will be displayed for you to write your review
  • To find a list of installed apps in webOS 1.x, open up the App Catalog and press the shopping bag icon on the bottom-right. Then just tap an app to be brought to the app description page and follow the directions above.
  • To get to the list of installed apps on webOS 2.x or 3.x, you need to load up the "Software Manager" app. Them, you can tap on any app to see a App summary screen that has, among other things, a "Review App" button that will give you instant access to leave a review

Now, go leave some reviews for your apps!
