Along with a case and a Touchstone charging stand, one of the accessories revealed for the HP TouchPad at Think Beyond was a snazzy slim Bluetooth keyboard designed specifically for webOS. It has a card view button and everything. And now, following the HP Pre 3 and TouchPad through the FCC’s battery of testing tables and rigs is the keyboard. The Federal Communications Commission’s lab monkeys have deemed the wireless keyboard to be safe to type on, though they were never really clear as to what appendages you’re supposed to use for keypresses. In the process, however, they did manage to rip the keyboard into little bits, exposing a generic Bluetooth module from Broadcom and, well, keys. Check out the gallery of the steamy hot teardown after the break.
